Singer Model 7467 Sewing Machine

I recently received the Singer 7467 sewing machine as a present and so far I'm very happy with it. It has 66 stitch functions, a twin needle option, and 3 different buttonholes (which is more than I need). I have sewed about 8 of the decorative stitches thus far and I am quite impressed with the ease at which this machine handles them. I have owned two other sewing machines in the past but neither was as nice at stitching as this one.

Another thing that surprised me was just how quiet it is when you sew on it. I can literally have a conversation with someone who is standing several feet away, with no raising of my voice. It is very smooth and doesn't shake like some other models do which is surprising because of how light it is. You can easily carry it around the house.

I like the fact that it is computerized and adjusts the thread tension automatically for you. The reverse stitch button is right next to the needle which makes it easy to hold it while feeding the fabric through. Bobbins are easy to wind as well and it even comes with a self threading needle. This saves me a lot of time over my prior machine. I can do this by hand but the Singer does a good enough job at it. Did I mention that I LOVE the drop in bobbin system! No longer do I have to take pieces out of the machine to put the bobbin in.

I highly recommend the Singer 7467 to anyone looking for a modern sewing machine at a pretty good price. I have done a lot of garments with this and I absolutely love it.
