Quality workhorse of a machine

I have to say that the Janome TB12 Threadbanger is quite the workhorse of a sewing machine. I have worked professionally for several years as a tailor and have a lot of experience with many types of machines. I have used Bernina quite a bit but they are too expensive for my budget. I found this Janome after reading some online reviews and after using it I can say that it sews as good as any Bernina I used. It really makes some nice stitches and is very easy to use.

While I haven't had this sewing machine for very long I have quickly grown to love it. I haved sewn thicker garments with multiple layers of material with no problems, but I've also done some nice work on thinner material. The buttonholes are easy to create and they look great as well. The built in thread cutter is a nice feature and the reverse lever comes in handy. I am finishing off my stitching much easier than my prior machine.

The Janome TB12 is definitely worth the money. I've seen them going for much lower online than I found at my local shop. I have no regrets buying this model and highly recommend it. Janome has really sold me on the quality of their machines.
