Brother PC-210 PRW Project Runway Sewing Machine

A very impressive machine

I purchased the Brother PC-210 Project Runway sewing machine a few weeks ago and find that it is a big upgrade over my prior model. I looked at several machines from all the top companies and thought this offered the most for the price. The biggest feature for me was the ultra controllable speed as my daughter likes to sew at a very slow speed.

Threading is very easy as well. The automatic threader works nice and I was surprised after doing this the first time. I am used to manually doing it but I'll gladly use newer technology. I also really like the buttonhole that the Brother produces. It has a cool buttonhole foot that makes the proper size every time. Everything is automatic which is much nicer for me.

The drop in bobbin work great as well. No more bringing up the loop for me. I can start sewing much faster and my stitches look better than ever. It automatically sets the correct stitch length and width for your application and there are many decorative stitches to challenge your creativity. The PC-210 really seems to try to make sewing as seemless as possible. One example is I used to jam my old machine because I accidentally starting to sew with the presser foot up. You just can't do that with this model. You will get alerted that something isn't right which allows you to correct it before you do any damage.

Overall I'm quite happy with the Brother PC-210. I'm glad I opted for this one and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a high quality machine at a pretty decent price.
